Medical Centre Rogaška Slatina: Designing Display Stands for the Donat MG Experience

For the Medical Centre Rogaška Slatina, Ollo Studio designed a series of display stands for digital screens that seamlessly integrate into the existing Donat MG presentation. Rather than competing with the surrounding architecture, the stands were conceived as a natural extension of the space, reinforcing the identity of one of Slovenia's most iconic mineral water brands.

Designing in Harmony with the Existing Space

The new display stands were carefully developed to complement the existing interior and Donat MG exhibition, creating a cohesive visual experience without disrupting the architecture.

Existing water fountains

Organic shapes transform the characteristics of mineral water into a sculptural architectural element.

Translating the Brand into Form

The design draws inspiration from the essence of Donat MG. Soft, flowing curves reference the movement of water, while rounded forms subtly evoke bubbles and the water drop featured in the brand's visual identity.

Several design concepts were explored to ensure the new elements naturally blend into the existing environment.

Natural Materials with a Timeless Character

Stone was selected as the primary material to complement the architecture of the medical centre and communicate the natural origin of Donat MG.

Balancing Technology and Architecture

The challenge was to integrate digital screens into the space without allowing the technology to dominate the interior. The stands frame the screens while maintaining a clean and sculptural appearance.

3D visualisations allowed the client to evaluate different design directions and confidently choose the final solution.

From Concept to Visualisation

Multiple concepts and 3D visualisations were developed to explore proportions, materials and the relationship between the display stands and the surrounding architecture before the final design was selected.
