Discover Project DOM, an adaptive reuse architecture proposal by Ollo Studio transforming an underused shopping centre into a vibrant cultural, sports and community hub through participatory urban design.

Transforming an Existing Shopping Centre into a Community Destination
Projekt DOM is a platform to shift the perception of town Domžale into a positive future. It exposes its hidden qualities, involving inhabitants in the decision-making process, to eventually inform my design for the desired characteristics for the reuse of the shopping mall. The complex is thus transformed from a half-empty shopping centre into a cultural, sports and community centre, or briefly DOM (EN=home). By extending the function of the premises, it enables the town to create its own core, thereby increasing its vitality and directly affecting the satisfaction of the inhabitants.
