A successful bakery is more than a beautiful shop—it is a carefully planned workspace where production, display and customer experience come together. This project explores the design process behind a contemporary bakery, highlighting the technical decisions that transform an empty space into an efficient and welcoming destination.

For this bakery project, the client wanted a bright, contemporary interior that would showcase freshly baked products while ensuring a smooth workflow for staff during busy mornings.
The goal was to create a space that feels warm and inviting, while solving the practical challenges that every bakery faces behind the scenes.
Optimising Customer Flow
The layout was designed to create a clear journey from the entrance to the display counter and checkout, avoiding congestion during busy periods.
Designing a Functional Display Counter
The display counter was carefully planned to maximise product visibility while providing staff with an ergonomic and efficient workspace.

Integrating Hidden Storage
Storage for packaging, supplies and equipment was incorporated into custom cabinetry to keep the bakery organised without compromising the clean interior.
Selecting Durable Materials
Commercial-grade finishes were chosen to withstand daily use while creating a warm and contemporary atmosphere.
Visualising the Project Before Construction
Realistic 3D visualisations allowed the client to review the design, test materials and make informed decisions before construction began.
At Ollo Studio, we design hospitality spaces that combine functionality, technical precision and strong visual identity. Whether it's a bakery, café or restaurant, our goal is to create interiors that work beautifully for both customers and staff.
